But Katherine's Heigl's love of canines seemed to have got her into a bit of bother when she was bitten on the arm by a passing pooch in Los Angeles today. Luckily for the Ugly Truth star, the boisterous big puppy was only playing with her,
and did not even leave a mark on her skin. However the 33-year-old former Grey's Anatomy star certainly looked shocked when the juvenile animal decided to give her a nip. But the experienced dog owner soon realised the pooch was just giving her a playful bite, and laughed off the incident. In fact it was not long before she bent over the dog, which appeared to be an American Bulldog or Alapaha Blue Blood Bulldog, to give him another pat.
