So Sports Illustrated finally did make up to angry Kate Upton, as last year’s cover girl Kate Upton didn’t make it to the front on the just published 2014 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue. However, the buxom blond bombshell was in a coveted place within publication, nevertheless, as the first swimsuit model to complete a zero gravity photo shoot.
With photographer James Macari, photo assistants, videographers and make-up artists in tow, Upton & Co. went aboard G-Force One, a modified Boeing 727 from ZERO-G Corp., for the shoot. During a series of parabolas maneuvers at 34,000 feet, weightlessness occurs, though for 20-30 seconds only. Like Terry Richardson’s video of Upton doing catdaddy, the zero gravity experience and captured moments have already went viral on the web.
